At Mandarin Gems & Jewellery Co. Limited, we are committed to providing a wide range of services. Our services includes custom design, repair, cleaning, pearl re-stringing, and appraisals. Our in house goldsmiths each have over 40 years of experience, which allows us to provide repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
Diamonds
At Mandarin Gem’s we are committed to providing quality diamonds for our customers. Majority of our loose diamonds are certified and graded by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and AGS (American Gemological Society). Both laboratories are amongst the most respected in the industry for their consistent and unbiased grading system.
Under the GIA Diamond grading scale, Mandarin Gems only offers diamonds that are Excellent and Very Good Cut, in the colour of D-H, with a clarity in the range of Flawless – Very Slightly Included.
14 Karat Gold
Although our pieces are not generally crafted in 14K gold, it is available for custom design pieces upon customers request. 14K gold is composed of 58.3% gold.
18 Karat Gold
At Mandarin Gems, majority of our jewellery pieces are intricately hand crafted in 18K yellow and white gold. 18K gold is softer than 14K due to its higher gold content. However, it is highly recommended for fine jewellery. 18K gold is composed of 75% gold.
Platinum
Platinum is a naturally white metal. It is also one of the strongest metals available, which makes the jewellery piece more durable. Although platinum is not used for a wide range of jewellery due to its higher cost, it is a popular choice of metal for engagement and wedding rings. Platinum is available upon customer’s request for custom design.
